Can I just come along to a Pilates class?
All clients need to have an initial assessment prior to joining a class this can be done in person or over the telephone and takes approximately 15 minutes.
I have done Pilates before, do I still need to have an assessment?
If you have attended Pilates classes at your local health club or gym, it may be very different to the Body Control Pilates we teach at Forest Pilates, therefore we ask all new clients to have an initial assessment prior to joining a class.
If you have attended Pilates classes with a Body Control Pilates qualified teacher somewhere else, you may be able to join without an assessment.
How much do classes cost?
Pilates classes lasting one hour are £9 per class. Classes are paid for in advance in a half termly block. A block of 6 classes will therefore be £54.
What if I miss a class?
We have a very generous make-up system, whereby if you happen to miss your usual class we are happy for you to make it up at another class, within the term and providing there is space available. Always speak with your teacher to check there is space for you to make up, before turning up.
What do I need to wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your movement, e.g. joggers or leggings. The venues are all heated, however, long sleeved tops are preferable to bulky jumpers as the instructor will need to be able to see how your body moves to help you improve. Shoes are not required as it is done in socks or bare feet.
Do I need to bring anything?
All equipment is provided so just bring yourself!
